Privacy Policy

Last updated October 9, 2026. This policy applies specifically to the planned US iOS release of HomeDue. It does not describe other products from Cooltech Ai Creat Limited.

HomeDue is preparing for release. This policy reflects the current single-device design and will be reviewed against the final App Store build before launch.

Local records

Inventory, activity, preferences and trial history are stored in the app on your device. HomeDue has no inventory-upload or cloud-sync service. The iOS app uses embedded web-view storage. HomeDue does not add its own encryption. People able to open the unlocked app or device may see your records.

Photos and printed-label recognition

The iPhone app processes printed English labels using Apple Vision on the device. HomeDue does not send the selected photo to an OCR provider. Photo previews and recognized text are temporary; only fields you confirm are saved in inventory. Original photos in your photo library and system-managed copies follow your device settings. Crop out patient names, prescription numbers and addresses. Always compare recognized fields with the package.

Permissions

Camera or photo access is used only when you choose to scan a package; manual entry is available. A backup is read only after you select its file. iOS asks for notification permission when you enable device reminders. Notifications contain counts, not medicine names, and can be disabled in Settings.

App Store purchases

Apple processes iOS payments and communicates with its own services. HomeDue checks verified product and transaction identifiers, purchase status and expiration dates through StoreKit. The current design has no HomeDue server receiving receipts or payment-card details. Restore Purchases checks paid access with Apple and does not restore inventory.

Backups and retention

Export Inventory Backup creates a JSON file containing inventory, activity, settings and local access metadata. You choose where to save it; Files may include iCloud Drive or another file provider. Those destinations have their own privacy practices. Restore Inventory Backup validates the file and, after confirmation, replaces existing inventory, activity, stored labels and settings. It does not merge records or grant paid access. Keep backups private and export one before deleting the app or switching devices.

Your controls

Delete Local Data in Settings asks for confirmation, deletes inventory and activity, resets reminder settings, and clears local scheduled and delivered reminders. Trial and plan history is retained to preserve access rules. Exported files and system backups must be managed separately. Deleting data or uninstalling the app does not cancel an Apple subscription. The planned release has no HomeDue account to close.

System backups and limits

System or iCloud device backups may include app data depending on your settings. HomeDue has not verified exclusion of its storage from those backups and does not promise that data can never leave the device or that a system backup will restore inventory. Manage system backups in your device settings. HomeDue makes no HIPAA compliance claim and is not a patient-record system.
